Welcome to Free Human, a project born of my own love of travel to witness the beauty and diversity of nature, culture and humanity on this splendid planet we live on. I love to go a little off the beaten path. Meeting the locals, marveling at un-spoilt nature, discovering traditional food. Contributing responsibly to employment, the local economy with a low environmental impact is at the heart of these holidays. As is an inspiring, fun and wellness experience for you.

Join me on a soft Moroccan adventure to witness the serene majesty of nature & the vibrancy of Marrakech. Walk the Atlas mountains, bivouac on the lush Yagour Plateau, practice yoga on the roof terrace and meet the locals. Explore the city life of colourful Marrakech, it’s gardens, museums, artistry & handcrafts from the comfort of a traditional Riad in a quiet quarter of the Medina.
Ethical and sustainable travel where our presence provides employment, fair wages and support for community development is the pillar and heart of my holidays and retreats. I aim to be as eco-responsible as travel can be with locally sourced food and independently owned accommodation.
The mountain lodge is simple, comfortable and beautiful. The Riad in Marrakech is a little plush luxury to relax in my favourite area of the medina. I think you’ll love it.
My Morocco
An unexpected invitation brought me to the Morocco I have long been drawn to. Prior plans and visits were in some way thwarted each time but now came the adventure, the majesty of nature, the warmth of human contact, the richness of history and culture that for me are the hallmarks of a true travel experience.
Get ready for a real immersion as our soft adventure begins in the heart of a Berber High Atlas Village.
